Doula Support&Care

Every women and birthing person has a unique story. There's only one you, and your labor and birth story are individual to you, your body, and your baby.

My goal as your Doula is to inform, support, and empower you; so you can feel confident and safe making decisions about your birth journey.

A Doula's role can be profoundly positive on birthing experiences.  My duty is to care for and support you during one of the most deeply changing events in life.

Services and Packages

I offer a variety of support center services, including prenatal consultations to help you envision what your wishes, expectations, and goals are for your birth and postpartum recovery process.
We will line out what support looks like to best help you, what makes you feel safe, and cover any questions you may have about the labor and birth process, as well as what all your different options are when it comes to your labor. I want you to feel informed and empowered to make your own decisions, and to advocate for yourself confidently. We will also cover postpartum recovery support, and breastfeeding resources.
Having a baby is a lot of work, and we will also work with your partner or family support person to involve them in your labor and birth process, so you feel safe and supported, with everyone on your birth team informed on your needs.
I'll be with you every step of the way, this is your birth journey, your story, but you don't have to do it alone.

Why should everyone have access to a Doula on their care team?

Doula work is important to mom and baby in several different ways, the most important being the statistically backed evidence showing that having a Doula on your care team can lower the risk of interventions and improve your mental well-being during labor and birth.

Doula's provide both physical and emotional support that can be a huge game changer in your labor and pain management. The term at one point was believed to mean a 'mother to mothers'.

Having a Doula on your care team can be empowering, and bring a less stressful and more educated feeling of confidence in your decisions in labor and birth.

I'm very passionate about Doula work, and the benefits this work brings are really quite incredible and hold so much potential for a positive birthing experience.
